Eagles Nest Ranch

In these pictures is the main building where the office, nurses station, Chapel (dining hall) serving area, kitchen, and staff sleeping areas. Most of my time was spent in the kitchen making breakfast and lunch :) the other picture is by the horse coral where for the first 2 weeks before going into the kitchen for breakfast I had some very interesting conversations with those critters =D

this picture is of the yellow tower where I spent the first 2 weeks taking the campers off of the zip-line which was an awesome way to meet and hangout with the campers and build friendships with them. Was the coolest part, now had I known I was going to blog this I would have totally taken more pics =o oops lol.

This is the top part of the amphitheater where we had campfire Sunday-Thursday nights after chapel. The most favourite skit by far was bus stop. There were so many laughs and good times had here :) like before I have come to realize I take a lot of unimportant pictures lol.

My adventure at Eagles Nest Ranch

On July 4,2012 I embarked on a journey with God and on my way to YWAM LA, I was blessed to be able to travel 22 hours by bus to Medicine Hat, Alberta. I wasn't really sure what to expect and what God had planned for me.

I was amazed at how beautiful Alberta really is and the vastness of farm land as well as how breath taking the sunrise was. We reached Calgary at 6am in the morning on July 5th. Coming from British Columbia to another province of my own, I just committed my Albertan adventure into God's had to do his will and follow my commander. At 8am I boarded my next bus going from Calgary-Medicine Hat via Lethbridge and was kindly ask why I had taken the long way to Medicine Hat, so I just said I wanted a scenic tour of southern Alberta and enjoyed my travel. Finally after 6 hours from Calgary to Medicine Hat, I was greeted by my brother in Law who picked me up an drove me out to Eagles Nest Ranch 45 minutes south east of Medicine Hat a.k.a. "The Hat". Eagles Nest is in Dunmore, Alberta 20 minutes from Elkwater which I would find the best ice-cream :)
